Games

Have been busy with WoW and other games recently, I am half way through the 10 days trial on WoW. After playing it for 4 days, I understand how people are addicted to the game and waste their money and time on it. The quality of free to play mmorpg really cannot be compared to mmorpg that need monthly subscription, the graphics is great and game mechanic is good

Have been playing as a troll hunter, have asked my gaming group to guide me through the game. The unique thing about hunters is that they could tame a pet and assist in combat. Since hunter is like a bowman, the pet would “distract” the enemy into attack it so the hunter can use ranged attack. After getting help from a friend from the group i was brought to the western kingdom which is another area and he recommended me to get a bear as a pet since it’s a “Tanker” which is high in hp compared to the flamingo like creature as a pet as shown in the picture below.

However, I don’t think i will be paying money for the game after the trial. I think that its the paying part that also contribute to the addiction of the game. It’s human psychology for someone that had paid for a full month of the game to think that the more hours he clocked into the game would make the the money he paid worth it. This lead to a full day of gaming and the player refuses to take a break or go out unless the family is rich and the monthly fee is like peanuts.

Speaking of games lets get to the subject of Facebook games. Another big update had hit mousehunt, this time in celebration of the Christmas holiday. The system for sending gifts to friend have being introduced in the season and in order to make the special Christmas cheese a player would need a friend to send a gingerbread plank and then break it to form gingerbread cheese. At least this spread the idea of the season of giving. Another thing about facebook games is that playfish, the company that make pet society restaurant city and etc have been taken over by EA. Nobody have ever thought that EA would go into the causal internet gaming market. According to EA tradition, they will screw up games from the company they took over such as Westwood studios that produced the command and conquer series. EA have altered the original story line for the series and prolonged it so they can make more sequal. Lets hope they don’t screw up the facebook games.

I also ordered 2 shirts with my gaming group since there’s a discount and free shipping
