End of O Levels
Finally freedom, 2 months free from school until the release of result in Jan. Just done my first few things on the list, cleared assessment books and text book from the living room and watched Valkyrie.
Before the movie i only knew that there was a assassination attempt on Hitler in his Wolf’s lair which failed but did not know there was a coup after the bomb. Its interesting that they actually showed the defenses at the wolf’s lair, trenches manned with machine guns and camouflaged buildings. The movie also shown the importance of decisions as General Friedrich Olbricht delayed the order for the coup as he decided to be sure of Hitler’s death regardless of the original plan where even if Hitler didnt die the control of Berlin will overthrow him and also the decision of the communication of blocking Stauffenberg’s messages rather than the wolf’s lair.
Now i shall go watch inglourious basterds
